Recipe:
Ingredients
Donut Batter:
1 cup almond flour
2 tablespoons almond flour
1/4 cup no calorie sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons almond milk(can be any type of milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Chocolate Icing:
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
4-5 tablespoons milk
Vanilla Icing:
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinamon Sugar Topping:
1 cup no calorie sugar
1 tablespoon cinamon
Sugar Topping:
1 cup no calorie sugar
Instructions
Donut Batter:
Combine almond flour and no calorie sugar. Set off to the side.
Combine eggs, milk, vanila extract, and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until a thick batter is formed.
Add to a plastic bag or piping bag (to make it eaiser to put the batter in the donut pan).
Cut the tip off the plastic bag/piping bag and pipe out the batter into greased donut pan.
Bake donuts in the oven at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until golden. Let cool completely.
Chocolate Icing:
Whisk together no calorie powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
Add milk slowly and whisk until desired texture is achieved.
Vanila Icing:
Whisk together milk and no calorie powdered sugar.
Add vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
Cinamon Sugar Topping:
Whisk together no calorie sugar and cinamon together.
Assemble:
Dip donuts in chosen icing/topping.
